Dehradun : Air travel in Uttarakhand is getting a major boost with the launch of three new helicopter services under the UDAN scheme. Operated by Heritage Aviation, the services will connect Dehradun, Tehri, Srinagar, and Gauchar, beginning Saturday, December 6.

The initiative aims to improve connectivity in the hill state, making travel easier for residents and tourists. The helicopter service will operate twice daily, with a six-seater capacity, ensuring faster and more convenient travel across difficult mountain terrain.

Flight schedule and fares

The first flight will depart from Dehradun’s Jolly Grant Airport at 10:15 am for New Tehri. The fare is Rs 2,000.

From Tehri, the helicopter will fly to Srinagar at 10:30 am, with a fare of Rs 1,000. At 10:45 am, the service will depart Sr
