Srinagar: National Conference on Friday paid rich tributes to its party founder late Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah on his 120th birth anniversary.
Leaders and party workers, recalled the contribution of late Sher-e-Kashmir towards building Jammu and Kashmir.
Addressing a gathering at Naseem Bagh, National Conference President Dr.Farooq Abdullah,said the this day is not only a remembrance of Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah’s birth but also a reflection on his mission to give voice to the voiceless.
“The progress we see today is the result of Sheikh Sahib’s vision and courage. He dedicated his life to ensuring that every Kashmiri could live with self-respect and hope. His politics was rooted in service, compassion and justice,” Dr. Farooq said.
