BLOOMINGTON — The road to the top seed in the College Football Playoff and a trip to the Rose Bowl goes through the Big Ten title game in Indianapolis this weekend.

No. 2 Indiana football (12-0, 9-0) faces No. 1 Ohio State (12-0, 9-0) at Lucas Oil Stadium on Saturday, Dec. 6, in a historic matchup that pits the lone unbeaten teams left in the country against each other. This will be just the third No.1 vs. No. 2 matchup in Big Ten history.

It's also matchup that's been more than 12 months in the making.

The defending champs knocked off a then-unbeaten Hoosiers team in 2024 and nearly knocked them out of the postseason. The lessons IU learned in Columbus fueled their rise back to the top of the rankings this season to set up the rematch.
