Huge queues are expected at the Trafford Centre this morning as the new Haribo sweet shop prepares to open its doors with giveaways and a special guest appearance. The hit sweet brand is opening its first ever Greater Manchester store on Friday at 10am on Upper Peel Avenue at the shopping centre .

The M.E.N. had a sneak peek inside ahead of the official opening, to see the brightly-coloured interiors and quirky features of the new store. Grabbing attention straight away is the "Pick Your Mix" station as soon as you walk through the animated screen doorway.

Customers will be able to choose a tub size, and then fill it with scoops of their favourite sweets with a huge range available in the Pick Your Mix station. It includes the likes of fried eggs, rhubarb and custard, wa
