IndiGo’s widespread flight cancellations and delays have thrown travel plans into disarray across major airports, leaving thousands of passengers stranded with little clarity on their rights.

More than 700 flights were cancelled on December 5 alone, marking the fourth consecutive day of disruption. Delhi airport was the worst affected, with all IndiGo flights for the day grounded. Cancellations over the last four days have crossed 1,000, severely impacting schedules nationwide.

Bengaluru airport saw 102 cancellations on December 5. The pattern has been consistent: 99 flights were cancelled on December 4, 62 on December 3 and 20 on December 2.
