IndiGo has faced multiple flight delays and cancellations in recent days, leaving thousands of passengers frustrated and stranded. The main cause behind the disruption is a shortage of crew following the new Flight Duty Time Limitation (FDTL) rules, which limit the hours a pilot or cabin crew member can work.

During this time, an aviation expert shared an “OPEN LETTER – FROM INDIGO PILOTS, CREW & GROUND STAFF," which claims the problems were preventable. The poor planning forced them to deal with angry passengers while management made decisions from the closed doors.
