Frederick Health’s reduced-price grocery distribution saw more than double its average number of customers in November — further exemplifying the increased demand for food assistance in recent months.

The hospital is a SHARE Food Network host site, and part of a regional network run by Catholic Charities, which offers nutritious grocery packages to community members at a reduced cost. The package options include combinations of various meats, fresh produce and dessert items.
