Mum injured on birthday night out after drink spiked when she left it View 2 Images

A mum's 40th birthday ended in horror when she 'faceplanted' the pavement after being spiked when she put her drink down so she could dance. Victoria Dooney was concerned when she stumbled out of a bar in Blackpool, Lancashire, despite 'not having much to drink'.

The mum-of-one says she managed to walk to another bar where she collapsed on the toilet and couldn't move her arms and legs. Terrified Victoria's friends sought help from bouncers who brought her back outside and helped walk her to her hotel.

Victoria says she fell over and hit the floor outside the hotel, leaving her with cuts and bruises on her face as she was unable to move her arms to stop the fall. The dog groomer says the experience was
