A sea of stranded travellers, raised voices, and trolleys piled with baggage lying around – that’s what airports across India looked like on Friday as IndiGo’s crisis entered its fourth straight day. Thousands of passengers reported cancellations, endless waits, and even missing baggage, while the airline continued to battle severe operational trouble.
IndiGo has blamed the meltdown on crew shortages and the messy rollout of the revised Flight Duty Time Limitations (FDTL) norms, a combination that has thrown its schedules completely off balance.
