CINCINNATI, Ohio — Bengals receiver Ja’Marr Chase is close to reaching 1,000 yards receiving this season, and he knows it, too.
Chase enters Sunday’s matchup in Buffalo against the Bills at 971 receiving yards, putting him 29 yards away from reaching 1,000 on the season. He has reached 1,000 yards in each of his four previous seasons, and as he said at his Thursday press conference, Chase knows where he stands with his yards.
“I keep track of this one. I for sure keep track of this one, though,” Chase told reporters on Thursday. “I think 1,000 yards means a lot to all receivers. Even in high school, growing up, you always wanted to hit 1,000 receiving yards, 10 touchdowns. You always want to get into the double digits for sure.”
