The Directorate of Factories and Boilers organised a state-level training workshop in Bhubaneswar on December 5, 2025, focusing on the role of safety officers in accident prevention.
The Labour and Employees State Insurance Department approved the program to strengthen workplace safety across industries. The training aimed to empower safety officers with practical skills in hazard identification, accident prevention, and safe work practices.
Fifty-four safety officers attended the second phase of the workshop at the State Labour Institute. The program emphasised proactive measures to reduce risks and improve workplace efficiency.
