A truck transporting oranges from Maharashtra to Kolkata overturned on National Highway 49 near Jagmohanpur Chhak under Telkoi police limits in Keonjhar on Friday after being hit by a speeding trailer.

According to reports, the truck had slowed down near a speed breaker when a trailer approaching from behind lost control and rammed into it. The collision caused the truck to topple onto the roadside.

Local police arrived at the scene shortly after the accident and managed traffic to ensure smooth movement. Fortunately, no injuries or casualties were reported.

Authorities have launched an investigation to ascertain the exact cause of the crash. The front portion of the overturned truck sustained significant damage and is expected to be removed with the help of a crane to restore full norm
