The biggest Child Poverty Strategy in years, which aims to help lift around 550,000 children across the UK out of poverty by 2030, has been launched. The comprehensive plan tackles the root causes of hardship through measures including boosting family income and addressing the crisis of children living in temporary accommodations. The strategy's key success is the lifting of the two-child benefit cap , which alone is set to help a staggering 67,230 children in Birmingham.
