WASHINGTON —
Lawmakers are demanding further investigation into a September attack on an alleged drug boat, following reports that the initial strike killed nine people and a subsequent attack killed two more individuals clinging to the wreckage.
Admiral Frank Bradley, who the Trump administration said ordered the attack, appeared before lawmakers overseeing national security for a series of closed-door briefings.
Bradley informed lawmakers that there was no "kill them all order" from Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, a claim that Hegseth has denied, stating they could not see survivors from the first attack and attributing any oversight to the "fog of war."
Some lawmakers described the video they watched, noting it was evident that two people were clinging to the top of a capsized boat.
