It's freezing cold, it's just weeks until Christmas and frost, ice and even snow is adding to heavy rain this December to make life difficult for our homes.
And when the weather conditions are very wet, one part of your house that gets tested - and doesn’t always pass that test - is your drains.
When winter comes around, drains on the side of your house can quickly clog up with leaves, dirt, twigs and other dust and debris, while food waste down your kitchen drains can also clog up outdoor drains, including fat, grease and even rice and bits of food grime.
