Ferozepur, December 5, 2025: A major disruption unfolded across the Ferozepur rail network on Friday as farmer unions carried out a two-hour rail roko protest, intensifying their opposition to the draft Electricity Amendment Bill, 2025. The agitation, led by various farmer organisations including the Kisan Mazdoor Morcha (KMM), brought train movement to a standstill at multiple locations, creating widespread inconvenience for passengers.
