Dustin Wolf gave both a candid and rather humorous interview after a much-needed bounce-back performance for the Calgary Flames on Thursday night.

It’s been a bit of a strange week for Wolf, who, after giving up three goals on four shots in his latest start versus the Tampa Bay Wolf, saw Devin Cooley given the nod in each of the past three Flames games . He was able to return to the crease versus the Minnesota Wild, and looked much more like the goalie who received a $52.5 million contract in the summer.

“You can’t let anything bother you about that. Sh*t happens,” Wolf said on his recent stretch. “That’s the game of hockey. You can’t change what’s happened, you can only look forward to the next opportunity.”
