The airline said the passenger caused a disruption before takeoff.

It happened on a flight to Punta Gorda, Florida.

In a statement, Allegiant said it "does not tolerate disruptive behavior of any kind."

A person with that passenger was also taken off the flight.

The flight then took off to its destination.
