Assistant coach Ryan ten Doeschate stated on Friday that India’s subpar performance in the recent Test series has created a sense of “desperation" within the team to win the ongoing ODI series against South Africa.
India recently lost the two-match Test series 0-2 to the Proteas, and the one-day series is now tied at 1-1.
“It’s a very different set of players, but they are acutely aware of the responsibility they carry," ten Doeschate commented on the eve of the decisive third ODI.
