(Washington DC) — John Thune is celebrating the number of Trump nominees that have been approved by the Senate this year. Speaking this week on the Senate floor, the South Dakota Republican and Senate Majority Leader said the final total on Trump nominees that will be confirmed this year will likely top 400 — calling that an accomplishment in the face of Democratic opposition. The Senate is expected to adjourn for the year on or around December 19th.
