A Freeview Christmas channel is set to play some of the worst-rated festive movies ever in the run-up to December 25 – with the ultimate stinker on the big day itself. Great Christmas became the first UK channel to play round-the-clock festive favourites, beginning its 2025 schedule on September 4 - with yuletide programming continuing to January 6 on channel 52.

The Christmas-only channel will air 197 festive films this December offering viewers a continuous mix of festive classics and modern holiday hits. But more than 70 movies to be aired this December are rated below seven out of 10 on IMDb – the average score on the world-famous film review site.
