Vancouver’s food scene is growing, but it’s hard to find restaurants that both feel special and kid-friendly. So I went looking for options for families who want to have a nice dinner out with children.
I focused on full-service restaurants that take reservations and feel fancy but not intimidating. I also looked for large restaurants that are a bit noisy to allow for indoor voices that sometimes verge on outdoor voices.
I have yet to meet a kid who isn’t a picky eater, so I focused on places with a dedicated kids menu with the usual dishes (chicken fingers, noodles with butter, macaroni and cheese).
