Prince Harry has reportedly urged Meghan Markle to reach out to her dad amid his recent health battle . Thomas Markle Sr, 81, had to undergo life-saving surgery during which his leg was amputated, it has been claimed.

It was reported earlier this week that he had been rushed to hospital after falling seriously ill at his home in the Philippines. He then underwent a three-hour operation on Wednesday to remove his left foot and lower leg after a circulation issue turned the limb blue and black.

With his own family feud going on, Harry is reportedly encouraging his wife to get in touch with her dad , whom she has not been on speaking terms with since 2018.
