Rep. Juan Ciscomani has signed onto a longshot, bipartisan health care plan that would temporarily extend a set of expiring Obamacare tax credits as pressure mounts on Congress to make a deal.

Ciscomani, R-Arizona, and about three dozen other lawmakers announced a plan on Dec. 4 that would extend a set of enhanced Affordable Care Act tax credits for a year with some modifications, including a new income limit, then urge Congress to revisit the issue by mid-2026 to keep costs down the following year.
