LORAIN COUNTY, Ohio (WOIO) - The jury in the trial for the Lorain County Corrections Officer accused of allegedly paralyzing an inmate and allowing a six-year-old boy in his year ingest a THC gummy, is deliberating Friday.
Lorain County Court of Common Pleas Judge Chris Cook is presiding over Brian Tellier’s trial. The jury started deliberating Thursday afternoon.
Tellier, 36, is charged with five felony counts and two first-degree misdemeanors.
For the alleged assault on the inmate:
One count of felonious assault, felony
Three counts of tampering with records, felony
One count of dereliction of duty, misdemeanor
For the alleged incident with the child:
One count of endangering children, misdemeanor
One count of endangering children, felony
