In 2015, I was asked to help with ideas for a holiday-themed fundraiser. A friend at the time and I met for coffee and I threw the idea past her of running a professional wrestling show in Kingston and raising money through ticket sales.
I’d previously been involved with a local promotion based out of Kingston and had see the kind of fun the event could garner. Having been a lifelong pro wrestling fan myself, I pitched the idea to her of reaching out to a promoter from nearby Cornwall who had been running shows.

The two met and a show was planned for December of that year. About three weeks out, she called me to say the promoter was pulling out, leaving her high and dry and putting the fundraiser at risk.
