MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - The Wisconsin Badgers are making a schedule swap.
The University announced Friday that the matchup set for Sep. 19, 2026, will now feature a different opponent.
University officials said that the Badgers will now take on Eastern Michigan instead of Pitt.
The Badgers and Pitt are still set to battle in 2027, at the Aer Lingus College Football Classic in Dublin, Ireland. That game will take place on Aug. 28, 2027, at Aviva Stadium.
The 2026 Badgers football season kicks off Sep. 6, 2026, vs. Notre Dame at Lambeau Field in Green Bay.
The Big Ten schedule for 2026 has not been finalized, but UW officials confirmed that the Badgers will host Michigan State, Rutgers, Minnesota, and USC at Camp Randall. They will take on Iowa, Maryland, Penn State, Purdue, and UCLA on
