Ohio is providing another round of political theater for the nation this week, with House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan at center stage, and Today in Ohio podcasts wonder when the embarrassing antics will stop.

Jordan has subpoenaed former special counsel Jack Smith for a private deposition about his prosecution of Donald Trump – but puzzlingly refuses Smith’s offer to testify publicly.

“It does seem like Jordan is afraid that he may not like what Smith has to say,” Chris Quinn said on Thursday’s episode. “Because he’s going to portray Donald Trump as the criminal he is. And he (Jordan) doesn’t want that out there for people to see.”
