Playwright and Euphoria co-producer Jeremy O. Harris , best known for writing Slave Play , has been detained in Japan since November 16, authorities told Reuters . He was first stopped in the Naha Airport after a customs officer found 0.78 grams of ecstasy crystal in his tote bag. He was then arrested for allegedly violating the Japanese Narcotics and Psychotropics Control Act, and, on December 4, customs referred him to prosecutors in Naha. A typical dose is 0.1 to 0.25 grams of MDMA. There is no confirmation yet if charges have been filed, but a police-station official in Tomigusuku city in southern Okinawa confirmed to Reuters that Harris is still in custody.
