The Mumbai crime branch busted a call centre racket and arrested 10 persons for allegedly duping US nationals by promising to sell Viagra and other banned drugs to them.
According to an official, Crime Branch personnel raided the call centre in Amboli in Andheri based on a tip off, and arrested 10 individuals, including its owner.
The official said that the accused would make internet calls to US nationals and claim to be from pharma companies selling Viagra and other drugs restricted in the US.
The arrested accused are Amir Sheikh (40), Mahir Patel (26), Mohammad Khalil Sheikh (26), Md Sheikh (26), Adam Ehsanullah Sheikh (32), Aryan Qureshi (19), Aman Sheikh (19), Hashmat Jariwala (29), Muzaffar Sheikh (43), and Amir Maniyar.
