A farmer and father remains hospitalized and faces a long recovery from significant injuries sustained when he was accidentally run over by a tractor.
Jerrod Quade, 30, of Paynesville, was showing a neighbor how to start a Case International 4230 tractor when he was run over by the 6,100-pound vehicle in a pole shed on November 30.
The father-of-one was airlifted to Hennepin County Medical Center, where a GoFundMe campaign says he underwent emergency surgeries that "took several hours."
His initial list of injuries include "severe" pelvic damage, several broken ribs, a compromised femoral artery in his left leg, a broken right thigh bone, facial trauma, and internal bleeding.
