MIAMI GARDENS — The new knee injury for Miami Dolphins center Aaron Brewer is nothing that should keep him off the field.
Brewer is bound to practice Friday and appears to be in good standing to play Sunday’s game against the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium, according to Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel.
“It’s a product of going after it in practice,” McDaniel said of the minor knee issue. “A bump and bruise type of situation. Not something we’re concerned about.”
Brewer popped up on the Thursday injury report with a new knee injury that wasn’t on the Wednesday report. He was limited Thursday after practicing in full Wednesday.
