ROWENA, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - It was a special high school football season, especially for those who won state titles in the region. Three football programs from Iowa, Minnesota and South Dakota, respectively, were brought together to meet each other, have a good conversation and celebrate each other.
A Patriot, a Wildcat and a Lynx walked to the Tri-State Marker. That sounds like the beginning to a bad joke, but it was a sign of respect and brotherhood among high school football teams that border each other and have each had a run of success.
Brandon Valley, Hills-Beaver Creek and West Lyon each won their state championships. They each have multiple college football recruits, including multiple heading to Division I schools next Fall. The only thing that separates these programs is a
