A mom-of-two was delighted to see her 4-year-old daughter receive a gift from one of her friends at day care–until she saw what it was.

Aicha Diallo, 27, from Birmingham in the U.K., took to her TikTok, @softlyaicha , to share the unexpected turn of events that unfolded from the moment she picked up her youngest child, Nyla, from day care.

“Her classmate ran over to gift her a little pink box,” Diallo told Newsweek . “I asked to see it, but Nyla—being Nyla—said, ‘No, no, wait till we get home.’ A few minutes later, she changed her mind and opened it.”
