Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived in New Delhi for the two-day state visit to mark 25 years of strategic partnership between Russia and India. Putin was welcomed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Delhi's Palam Airport on Thursday, December 4.

The two leaders then travelled together in the same vehicle just as they shared car ride during the SCO summit in China a few months ago.

The first order of business is a private dinner with Indian PM Modi.

The Russian leader is here to attend 23rd India-Russia annual summit, the highest institutional dialogue mechanism, where both countries are expected to discuss trade, investment, and cooperation in defence and tech, particularly, small modular reactors.
