B.E. Academy for Girls was awarded $100,000 through the Yass Prize, along with 17 other schools in the running for the prestigious national award.

The Nashville nonprofit, private school was founded by Tee Wilson in 2024 and focuses on empowering girls to be fully themselves without fear of judgment or rejection. It also focuses on science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics, or STEAM.
