MADISON (WKOW) — 27 News' Pet of the Week is Javi!

Javi is a 2-year-old neutered male lab mix from the Humane Society of Jefferson County.

"Javi is a sweet, friendly soul who never turns down a cozy blanket," said HSJC spokesperson Madison Cummings. "Curling up underneath is his favorite way to relax, especially after a good play session with his toys."

Cummings said Javi loves to spend time with people.

"He brings a calm, joyful energy wherever he goes," she said. "With his playful spirit and warm cuddles, Javi makes every moment a little brighter."

Javi has been waiting for some time to find his family, so Cummings said his adopter can name their own adoption fee when they take him home.
