Official figures show that the Union Territory has a sanctioned Gross Budgetary Support of Rs 4,803 crore under the scheme. Of this, the Ministry of Power released Rs 349 crore in 2023–24, Rs 624 crore in 2024–25, and Rs 828 crore so far in 2025–26, marking a consistent rise in annual allocations for the power distribution network.
