KENDALL — Kendall took care of business in its opening-round matchup of the Kendall girls basketball tournament on Thursday night, knocking off Albion 59-29 to advance to Saturday's final.
The Eagles were powered by a 19-0 first quarter, during which six players scored. Kendall used its defense to force turnovers and get out in transition early and often. Kendall head coach Lucian Price was happy to see his team get out of the gates quickly.
