PETERSBURG, Ky. —
After more than a year of lane restrictions, westbound traffic on the Carroll Lee Copper Bridge should flow freely again by the end of the month.

The bridge was brought down to a single lane last December after an inspection found deterioration of the structure, requiring a weight limit to be enforced .
Work was set to begin in January but faced multiple delays due to other emergency repair projects and environmental issues, according to the Kentucky Transportation Cab
