COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - The Columbia Police Department is taking a continued approach to reach young people before there’s a crisis through their Young Ambassadors for Justice Roundtable.
The 8-week program instills lifelong lessons and is open for new applicants, with the deadline to apply coming up Monday, December 8th.
Deputy Chief Melron Kelly stopped by WIS to talk about how this program is building trust, opening dialogue, and helping keep our youth safe.
