Fox News hosts expressed disappointment after claiming that FIFA had "rigged" an event with President Donald Trump and other world leaders.

During a Friday ceremony at the Kennedy Center, Trump received FIFA's first annual peace prize before participating in a draw with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney and Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum.

"So you have to basically mingle the balls a little bit," FIFA President Gianni Infantino explained to the leaders. "You pick one. You open it. You see, there is a little paper inside... And then you can show it to the public."

One by one, the leaders picked a ball representing the team that would play the first match in their home country. Coincidentally, Carney picked Canada, and Sheinbaum picked Mexico.

"I think I know what this is going to be now," Trump said before his turn. "This is shocking."

Trump was unsurprised to see that he had picked the United States.

Following the ceremony, the Fox News hosts said they were not impressed.

"I told you there's some issues with FIFA, didn't I?" guest host Kevin O'Leary noted. "I mean, that was so rigged. It's ridiculous."

"I said, okay, here we go. Every ball. This is an old trick from the circus. Every ball has the country in it that the leaders in front of. There's no chance this wasn't going to happen," he continued. "The probability, if this was actually mixed with all the countries involved, that they would all get their own country was practically zero. If you think about it, that it's impossible."

"We just got duped," co-host Emily Compagno agreed.

"I think what's happening backstage right now is whoever marketing idea that was, whatever executive it was, they're getting whacked right now," O'Leary speculated.
