The draw for the group stages of the 2026 World Cup is complete, with England and Scotland now having a better idea of what lies in store next summer in the United States, Canada and Mexico. The tournament is the first with an expanded 48-team format, with Argentina going in as defending champions .
England were drawn in Group L and will face Croatia in their first game. Panama and Ghana are the other two teams in their group, while Scotland are in Group C with Brazil, Morocco and Haiti.
Two of Wales , Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland could yet join England and Scotland in North America next year. They'll be involved in March's European play-offs, with four more teams to qualify from the continent, though only one of Wales and Northern Ireland can make it after
