Thousands of Michiganders raced to big-box stores on Black Friday, and small-town retailers on Small Business Saturday, and now with the Christmas shopping season is in full swing many stores are extending their hours to give customers more time to shop.

Holiday shopping for Christmas 2025 is in full swing already this December. Walmart is extending its Cyber Week sales through Sunday, Dec. 7, and some other retailers are extending their store hours to accommodate the holiday shopping rush.
