A Sarnia man wanted on two warrants faces multiple charges after officers recovered an abandoned vehicle this week, city police say.
Officers tried to pull over a suspected suspended driver about 8:20 p.m. on Sept. 29 near Vidal and Devine streets, but the vehicle didn’t slow down, police said. Officers stopped following because the motorist was driving aggressively and ran a red light, they said.
Officers later found the vehicle abandoned on private property on Churchill Road, but were able to identify and obtain an arrest warrant for a suspect, police said. A person was arrested about 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
Kristian Carver-Spitzig, 23, is charged with dangerous driving and flight from police, police said.
