NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - The United States Men’s National Team now knows its competition after the World Cup 2026 draw took place in Washington, D.C. on Friday.

The United States is in Group D with Australia, Paraguay, and the winner of Playoff C, which involves Türkiye/Romania/Slovakia/Kosovo.

The U.S. Men’s National Team will play their group D matches on the West Coast: June 12 in the Los Angeles area, June 19 in Seattle, and June 25 back in L.A. area. The full match announcements will take place on Saturday.

The U.S. will open its World Cup against Paraguay.

The odds of the USMNT winning the World Cup 2026 are 50-1. Spain is the favorite to lift the trophy at 4-1 odds.

In the last International Window, the USA beat Paraguay, 2-1, and soccer heavyweight Uruguay, 5-1.
