GREENVILLE, S.C. —

The playground at Greenville's Unity Park will temporarily close starting Monday, Dec. 8.

The park will be closed for two to three weeks while crews replace the synthetic turf system after Hurricane Helene caused flooding and underground shifting.

The project includes removing the current turf, rebuilding the base layer and improving attachment points around the perimeter.
