With snowy conditions across the United States, people are embracing the winter wonderland with their pets, or at least trying to. One dog had other plans when his owners began building a snowman in the backyard.
Emily and her boyfriend bundled up for a cold, Chicago day —the worst start to the city's winter in 150 years—and embraced their inner child by building a snowman in the backyard. Alongside them was Nala, a 2-year-old rescue dog they adopted from an animal shelter in Kansas City when she was a puppy.
"We lived in Chicago last year, too, but didn’t get a lot of snow," she told Newsweek via TikTok. "So this was definitely one of the biggest amounts she’s seen before!"
