When Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce announced their engagement earlier this summer, she instantly sparked a slew of wedding-related trends. Her proposal dress—a black-and-white striped Ralph Lauren number —flew off the shelves, and her engagement ring ’s old mine diamond generated record-breaking searches for the unusual cut.
When it came to designing Swift’s ring, Kelce tapped 30-year-old jeweler Kindred Lubeck of Artifex Fine Jewelry. (Swift had shown him Lubeck’s work over a year and a half before their engagement.) Swift’s bespoke ring featured a cushion-cut old mine diamond rounded at the corners, and bezel set in a hand-engraved gold band. While this one-of-a-kind ring ensures that nobody will have the exact same design, now, you can get pretty darn close.
