California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) responded to Oscar-winning actress Halle Berry saying he “probably should not be the next president” due to his vetoing of a bill on women’s menopause.

“The Governor has deep admiration for Ms. Berry’s advocacy and looks forward to working with her and other stakeholders on this critical issue,” a spokesperson for Gavin Newsom’s office s aid on Thursday .
